<p>It is interesting to learn that the average <a href="http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/bus/stories/071609dnbusaptrents.41a38e40.html" target="_blank">apartment rent in Dallas is just under $800 a month, </a>and more folks are getting out of high-rent units nationally. If local rents have declined .06%, this also could be because everyone who cannot sell their home is <a href="http://www.dmagazine.com/Home/2009/07/02/3404_Colgate_Ave.aspx" target="_blank">opting to lease</a>. But I have a question: there are <a href="http://www.parklanedallas.com/" target="_blank">more and more high-end apartment complexes </a>cropping up in Dallas, many of which <a href="http://dallasdirt.dmagazine.com/2009/03/19/park-lanes-new-look-across-from-northpark/" target="_blank">got their start in that other real estate lifetime called &#8220;The Boom&#8221;</a>. $2000 to $3000 a month &#8212; who&#8217;s going to occupy these?</p>
