Remember those reports about “Welcome Home George and Laura” signs disappearing? Well, this home on Meaders, a few homes east of Daria Drive, solved the problem. This sign is tied down to an exterior rafter — try to get it, you could break something. Like maybe your neck. The fine print reads: “Thank You For Making America A Safer Place For Our Family.” The print below reads: “You can steal our signs but you cannot steal our appreciation!”

Wow, I’m impressed: the Dallas Morning News must have been camping out on the Darias to file this story on how the former president motored up from Crawford to check out his new home — and a police SUV acted as a barrier gate on Daria Drive. After receiving a call, I just left the area but was too late to catch the scene. However, I do think that the Northway property is occupied — and whoever occupies it has someone standing in the window keeping watch 24/7. Photos up as soon as I get to the office.

Thanks to one of our readers for finding Bill Clinton’s home in Chappaqua, N.Y. on satellite. Is it me, or does it appear to be larger than the Bush home on Daria? I have also received calls today asking me about Secret Service protection for former presidents. Here’s the info on it. (Thanks as always, C.R!!!)
