Next Tuesday morning foreclosed homes in Dallas will be sold on the courthouse steps. Foreclosures are a sad time and I cannot think of a worse, more horribly stressful scenario than being forced out of your home. I know — it happened to me.
Over at the Park Cities People Blog, Merritt Patterson got wind of a Wi Fi Network called iHateMyLandlord. A few days ago I asked if anyone in Dallas was selling their home via Twitter, as one New Jersey man is trying to do. Still waiting for more responses, but a local builder tells me that consumers are using Twitter to “rate” them — in some cases venting. (This builder said he’d like to Twitter some of his “lazy-ass” subs, but doesn’t think they would care that much.) After reading Merritt’s post, I wonder, are tenants Twittering on bad landlords?
