What Exactly Did George and Laura Tear Down?

bush-teardownThere are many reasons why I love my friends at Zillow, and this is definitely one of them. They just have more toys and tools to play with, so giving precious Diane Tuman full credit here for helping me explain last week’s post about the house that George and Laura tore down sometime last November. Thanks for the love, guys! By the way: it looks like a property directly behind the “tear-down” house, but then when I trooped through the bushes (parson my pun) last December, it appears those structures are greenhouses at the far end of the Hicks’ property at the Crespi Estate.

Candy: Is Tom Hicks’ property the biggest or most expensive property in Dallas? Do you know?

    Thanks for the post pickup!

Diane- Yes, Tom’s property was featured in D’s most expensive home and has been number 1 for quiet some time. His estate sits on 20+ acres on and has several improvements.

Just a thought: When George and Laura moved into Mayflower Estates, they purchaced 3 houses. George Sr. did the same thing in Houston, only George Sr. baught every house in the neighborhood and now has his very own gated community. Maybee George Jr. will do the same thing, but over a period of time. He already has his own gate.

    Candy,

I dont think those are green houses on Hicks property. I believe those to be houses that are on Netherland Cir.

it’s def. hard to tell who those belong to, I think the Hicks property line is approx. 330-340 feet North of where the back of the house ends, but I can’t find a clear pic to really see.
