This must be the back, as those upstairs windows would never fly on the facade in a historic district!!!

True, it is the back. Dump it might be, but it’s my little dump, and I’m keeping her. Oh wait…

Who do you think you’re kidding Bette? This home is way better than that grave you’re blogging from six feet under.
Question?@ December 22nd, 2009 at 12:25 am
Does Marsue still have 3808 Turtle Creek listed? It’s not online, but I still see her magnetic rider on the Allie Beth Allman sign as I drive down Blackburn towards Turtle Creek every day.

@Bette: You meant frolicking, yes?

I love this house — and all the crunch that goes with it!

I like it too — Junius Heights Historic District “Bungalow Heaven” is the place to buy as far as I am concerned. In the next boom it should go sky-high.
Speaking of sky, maybe we can call this an “Airplane Bungalow” from this angle.
This link doesn’t really demonstrate the style that well, but it’s a wonderful house:
@ Question? – Marsue $old 3808 Turtle Creek Drive last week. It closed on December 18, 2009, for $1.25M after having been on the market since September 2008, with an original asking price of $3.5M!
DallasDirt is a daily discussion of the Dallas-Fort Worth real estate market, led by D Home Real Estate Editor Mary Candace Evans with contributions from real estate experts and aficionados. Topics include house porn, hot neighborhoods, hot agents, hip pockets, celebrity listings, second homes, vacation homes, real estate trends, data analysis, tips for buying, selling, or staying put. If DallasDirt were a house, it'd be a three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath ranch transitional on a quarter acre lot with stainless kitchen and granite countertops: sophisticated with designer touches, room for expansion. Make an offer.
