OK, I know it’s a little quirky — the architect was trying to be all New Orleans style — but surely some Tulane grad wants 4214 Manning. It’s now down to $2,050,000 from $2.5 and something tells me note holders just might entertain an offer. In fact, I’d go in at $1.5 — what do you think?
It’s really more of a Baton Rouge look, in the style of A. Hayes Town. Such a refreshing change from the normal Texas spec home. Unfortunately this LSU affilaited commenter can’t quite swing a $2M note just yet…
I’ve not been in it, but saw pics of it when it went on the market way back when, and this Tulane grad is sad to see that all the beautiful brick on the interior has been painted white. That is really unfortunate.
love your link to sawbuck!
Love this house!
Another Louisiana girl who would LOVE this house …. if my kids could stay in Park Cities schools after we moved in! Love this house — it reminds me of home — and it does beat all the stone/brick french reproductions that are everywhere!
