Traditional or mid-century modern? I don’t know, but she has hardwoods, a renovated kitchen with light wood cabinets, 2370 square feet, four bedrooms, 2 baths, a wall of glass facing the creekview, and will only set you back $279,900! Check out 10836 Colbert Way in the uber hot L Streets — this home would be perfect for a first time home buyer looking to cash in on that $8000 tax credit and may be eligible for FHA financing. That plus the agent, Ed Murchison, is one of my faves in Dallas.
To get a better taste of Lake Highlands, check out this article I wrote for D Home: Neighborhood Spotlight: Lake Highlands
This area is neither Lakewood (home to M Streets) or Lake Highlands (home to L Streets). It’s Lockwood. Hugeeeee difference.
Finally, getting into my price range!
Couldn’t have said it better myself, A. Davis. I live on one of the L Streets in LH and this home isn’t in our area. Lochwood has some mature trees but it’s not in the same league as LH (schools) and Lakewood (location). Hence the price. This post needs to be re-written. False advertising for sure.
Agreed. Different area for sure.
A thousand apologies… where is my brain?
We in Lakewood don’t like to be included in the same sentence as Lake Highlands. We are Wildcats, they are copycats. And BTW we ranked higher on the Newsweek Top High Schools list.
In one fell swoop, LakeWWWooder managed to confirm every stereotypical thing I’ve heard about people from Lakewood. Congrats, sir.
It’s all true ! – even though that was posted in jest.
Here in Texas we have long-standing school rivalries.
Google the one between UT and Texas A&M for a good example.
