Massacre On Blairview Drive: Virginia Cook Realtor and Children

Virginia Cook agent Jeanmarie Tolle Geis was murdered in her home this morning along with her two children, Sidney and Mattew, age 4 and 8. This is the same agent who was robbed in the Virginia Cook Preston Center parking lot on December 6 by two men wearing ski masks, who took her computer and wedding ring, according to Virginia Cook. Mrs. Geis and her husband, Frank Geis, also a Virginia Cook agent, had been harassed and beaten in their North Dallas home on two separate occasions since the initial December 6 robbery. Mr. Geis was at the hospital having stitches removed from one of those attacks when his wife and children were shot to death in the 7200 block of Blairview Drive this morning.

On the morning of December 13, the attackers broke into the home and beat both Mr. and Mrs. Geis — the children were staying with their grandparents.

“They came to the house in the morning, viciously beat him and took out all his teeth with a mallet,” says one source. Mrs. Geis was also sexally assaulted. She was home alone the following day, in her driveway, when the attackers returned to sexually harass and beat her again — a neighbor helped scare them away.

Mrs. Geis’ father, the late Mark Stenson Tolle, was a prominent local state district judge who presided over the Darlie Routier case. There is speculation that this brutal, vicious attack was somehow in retaliation for a sentence her father handed down during his career.

UPDATE: I am now told that the sequence of attacks went like this: Dec. 6, Mrs. Geis robbed in the Virginia Cook parking lot; Dec. 13, both Mr. and Mrs. Geis attacked in their home on Blairview; Dec. 14, Mrs. Geis attacked while in the driveway of her mothers’ home (her father, Judge Tolle, died in September of 2007); the murder this morning. I am also told that during one of the attacks, Mrs. Geis was told: “Your family made my family’s life a living hell, now I’m going to do the same to your’s.”

Where were the police in all of this? Why was this woman and her family not protected?

WTF is going on here? This is surreal and grotesquely tragic. This all seems to raise far more questions than answers.

My heart goes out to this family and their friends.

Do you know how to spellcheck?

While this is a disturbing event as well as sad, I hope better police work will produce the evidence to bring the suspects to answer for the crime. Unfortunately, my instinct, says the police will suspect the husband. There are a lot of unanswered questions; how convenient he was at the doctor, why didn’t she go with him? What in past laid the path to this outcome, not just supposing someone from her father’s past judgments? Persons of interest usually break under pressure.
My prayers are with the family and I hope that the truth will come out. God Bless…

So, after reading this quote in DMN, “Meanwhile, Eric Hansen, 37, told police Friday that the Geises had been having marital trouble, and that he had been dating her recently”, does one suppose there were marital problems? Where did the husband live while his wife dated Eric Hansen? How did he feel about this? What time did he go to the doctor’s office? Was it forced entry? On and on…

What a tragic story, very Shakespearian though. There is a very high probability that the end of the story will be much less climatic then the beginning. This was probably a very sick woman that was looking for a way out, not someone that was being stocked. Maybe her plan was to kill the husband to be with the neighbor. The robbery in the parking lot may have been true, but I doubt the home invasion and ensuing assualt where. When her botched home invasion/murder didn’t work she had to build a foundation to her alibi by staging another assualt. I am sure the pressure that the police where applying to her in that investigation helped to spur her final act. If she couldn’t eliminate the husband then she would eliminate herself.

What a tragedy. Why would JeanMarie be the one dead if it was her plan to leave her husband. Why kill the children. Get real you are taking a ridiculous leap there Tim. Especially if the husband Frank was having an affair. Bitter much! And the word your going for is STALKED, but I got your point. And as was said, where were the cops? If they were suspicous of her lying about the attacks, I think they would been present. But they were not, not even for protection.

Horrible, tragic story. As many have said, there will be much more to this once all the pieces are put together. Poor kids.

Friends: Two small children are dead. Their mother chose to look for what was missing in her life from a young guy named Eric Hansen. Ladies, if you are involved in an extramarital affair, get help. Nothing good is going to come from an affair. This is so tragic. God bless the babies who are in heaven. And, God have mercy on their mama.
