This sign is plastered up and down Meaders Lane and sprouting up on Daria Drive and Place, where crews are at work trimming trees on the new Bush residence(s). Planned as a “welcome wagon” for the President and Mrs. Bush, the signs are the brainchild of one Patrick Bibb, a 2007 Hillcrest High School graduate and a sophmore at TCU studying Economics. Patrick lives on Meaders with his parents. His brother Ryan, a Hillcrest senior, is helping him create the signs. $20 each; $2 from each sale will be given as a donation to Pershing Elementary School in honor of Laura Bush. Patrick is doing this independent of any political persuasions, though he did vote for John McCain.
“Regardless of your political views, President Bush was our leader for the last eight years,” says Patrick. “I think he deserves respect for being our Commander in Chief and we are delighted to have him in our neighborhood.”
Hello Neighbor,
My name is Patrick and I am a 2007 graduate of Hillcrest High School. I am sophomore studying economics (ouch!) at TCU.
In an attempt to help out with my tuition, I designed and had professionally printed the beautiful yard sign that you see below.
The sign is not intended to be a political statement. It is simply a way of saying thank you to a man and his wife for numerous years of public service to our state and our country.
My brother (Ryan) who is a senior at Hillcrest and a few of our friends are helping me out with this effort.
We are selling the signs for $20 each. Please call the number on the sign to order your sign.
If you buy a sign, you will not only be helping me out, I will be donating $2 dollars from the sale of each sign to the Pershing Elementary School library in Honor of Laura Bush.
Let’s show President and Mrs. Bush that they have chosen the friendliest neighborhood in Dallas to call home.
Thanks for your support,
Patrick
you did it again.

I think this blog topic will generate 100+ comments (responses). Stir up the Dallas dirt again from either side.
No comment from me this time.
I say, “get set, on your mark, Go” – both side…..
TonySo@magnum2000.com
When they put this on the news I had 40 to 50 for this area on my websites for about 4 or 5 days. It has died down now.
Code Pink has something planned that will make you guys feel so proud of us as well as how large our movement has become. It is for the safety of our children and our family.
This war criminal belongs in prison and we intend to see that he is held accountable.
Don’t think he is going to be welcomed by anyone but the very rich, and those that could care less about the Americans that have died becuase he lied, Cheney lied us into a war ..an illegal war that makes Bush repsonsible for over ONE MILLION MURDERS
So, lessee we got mom, dad…
…so he’ll make what? 40 bucks?
also, I like the fact that he talks about GWB deserving respect, yet calls he and the missus “George and Laura” on the sign. Oh well, I guess “Consistency” never was an economic principle. “Cash Grab”, however…
I’m getting tired of the “he was the president for 8 years” argument: I know that, we all know that (unless some of us are a little slow in the head–lookin at you, West Virginia residents/blood relatives’).
The sitting president has obviously attained the highest office in the land; and where are we now? what does that mean to us TODAY? Let’s all live in the past; good plan.
I think it’s a little tacky to presume to address the current first couple–on a plastic yard sign, selling for $20, in the worst economy we’ve ever seen…but I digress–as though he (and anyone who forks over US currency, and sticks it in the front yard) is somehow on a first name basis with the soon-to-be-former commander in chief and the soon-to-be-former first lady.
I know I’d just love to see the neighborhood welcoming me home with plastic signs in their yards, rather than coming by to say “howdy” (granted, I don’t travel with the secret service or bodyguards of any kind–wouldn’t that be a great barrier between you and those door-to-door salesmen / charity donation “collectors”).
Good. At least $2 of the $20 goes to charity. My conscience can rest easy, even if my gut feels like I ate some spoiled shell fish.
I’m all for entrepreneurship, but these signs look like a rip of at $20.
If you have $20 to spend on a throw-away, hastily made, opportunistic, and ultimately superficial yard sign where only 10 percent of the sales price is going to Pershing Elementary, why not just take your $20 and give it all to Pershing Elementary? Or, better yet, keep it in your pocket; charity starts at home, you know…and you already paid your property taxes. Look at that; is all that hair your tore out starting to grow back already?
But, if you can’t resist, and if you want to order one, check the bottom right of the sign your neighbor bought…Because even though he/she bought one (really? they did? why?), their creator is still using them to make a buck.
I challenge the neighbors to give $20 to Pershing Elementary directly in the name of First Lady Laura Bush: I think she would be very honored that her new neighbors supported a cause so dear to her.
Say hello to your new neighbors in person. Your street (Daria Place) is already turning into a circus–and don’t worry, I’m not going to shamelessly take the opportunity at this time to plug the new Britney Spears Album also title “Circus,” which was released last week, even though I know I could…if only I could make some money off of her…of course a portion would go to charity, I’m socially conscious like that.
all the tangents and new words (read “shell fish”) aside:
-$20 seems like a lot for a yard sign
-$20 seems like a lot for a yard sign that looks like little effort went into its production
-$20 seems like a lot for a yard sign that has a cheesy, uncreative graphic (wow, W again? A Texas Flag? really? that’s O-riginal).
-$20 seems like a lot for a yard sign when I like my $20 bill (much more visually pleasing) more than I like the sign
-$20 seems like a lot for a yard sign that only gives $2 of that $20 to charity (something touted in promotion of the sign)
-$20 seems like a lot for a yard sign that is at best temporary, and will only last a matter of weeks and then be thrown into a landfill
-$20 seems like a lot for a yard sign when I could make it myself for less than that
-$20 seems like a lot for a yard sign, especially when the yard sign makes the home it’s in front of look half as valuable due to the sign’s presence in the front yard.
Hand signs are cheaper. I will be sure to flash my favorite hand sign at GW’s limo when I see it. GW will always be “Number One” with me.
He’s an economic major and is WELCOMING W?? Isn’t that a bit odd? I need a big stay in Crawford sign for my yard. (PS. I live 3 miles from the moron)
This is pretty entertaining. I’d be making the news if I lived in Preston Hollow for my yard sign, which would be the sign equivalent of Tinman’s sentiments. Yet another reason why I love Lakewood.
My opinion, the signs are a reflection of the gracious and polite manners our city is known for…the young man who designed them is just that…young and enthusiastic. You may not like what he has to say, but he has every right to say it. If you don’t agree with his sign project, don’t buy one. The negative tone of comments toward W in comments on this blog are in poor taste. It’s truly unfortunate.
I’d pay for a sign with includes the sole of a shoe. Wouldn’t even need a printed message, no?
It’s enterprising, original, and the President and First Lady will be likely pleased by the entrepreneurial effort and the charitable donation to the school.
@ Palinoscopy – where can we find out more about the plans in the neighborhood? You can’t just allude to something like this and not share the details.
…”President Bush was our leader for the last eight years”…
‘Nuff said.
About 80 pecent of the world thinks Bush led us to a war for no reason. Everyday, a bit more information comes out that makes it clear this was a LIE not at MISTAKE. With that in mind, he is responsible for every ounce of blood shed in this disgrace to our country. That, my friends is in POOR taste.
So, you may not like what I have to say, but I have a right to say it. So every time you see a soilder withou limbs, or without a home, a parent without a child, a child without a parent, or hear of the residual results of a worthless war, then think of George W. Bush, Cheney, Gonzalez, Rove and you will see that all roads lead to Dallas.
Even if you love this man, how could anyone in their right (not right wing) mind that he will bring nothing but negativity to our city.
So…what do you have planned?
Oh good God Palinoscopy! Clinton should have ousted Saddam the moment he refused the weapons inspectors. At that point Saddam reneged on the terms of the Gulf War ceasefire. Clinton used his bollocks for something completely different.
these comments are hilarious. (except for amanda’s – what a wet blanket.)
love dallas dirt
@Palinoscopy when I think of a child without a parent I think of my illegitimate niece. At 40 her mother is too dumb to figure out birth control. But Ohio just went Dem so I guess she will be ok.
Oh My God people, this was supposed to be a sweet, heart-warming story!
Candy should open her mind. Check out other blogs. See what the world is saying. Why was the world wide response to the show thrower if favor of the journalist? Why did 90 percent of the world laugh at bush getting the boot? The blood on the innocent is thick. There is nothing heartwarming about the killing of innocent children in Iraq. Say what ever you want about Obama and the Democrats. It will not distract the world from the war crimes of George W. Bush. Remember the mushroom cloud, the non-existant WMD’s? Cheney said we would have gone to war even if he knew they didn’t exist. Rove said they would not. Bush says “So WHAT?”……….
Check out
http://www.icasualties.org
Scroll down, keep scrolling. Your hand will tire of scrolling while looking at the lives that have been snuffed out by a war based on a lie. Poor taste? Heart-warming story?
You be the judge.
Palinoscopy has clearly been opening his/her mind with a little too much “stuff” from the late 60’s. Palinoscopy should shut his/her mouth. Yes, you certainly have a right to say this stuff, and you’ve said it…so shut the hell up and leave Candy alone. Who would have thought the wackos would have come out swingin’ on this post? (never saw that one coming!)
Palinoscopy and C.R. – get over it and let’s engage in some dialogue that will move our country forward and bring us together – not continue to divide us…cause right now this country is pretty danged divided. Otherwise, go back to posting on your left-wing nutjub blogs and keep this one free of your incessant conspiracy banter. And, you never answered my question – so you suck.
Have any of you Bush supporters ever wondered “Why don’t we EVER see body bags being unloaded at Andrews Air Force base on the news?”. Bush has this country hood-winked. Wake up, folks. I love the attitude that if you have a liberal attitude, you are somehow a lesser citizen.
There is no conspiracy banter. These are facts. Look at the web site of those that have died, if you are really INTERESTED.
I know the facts are disturbing. However, I am not the one making signs to celebrate
a war criminal. We can move our country forward but we will never forget who moved it so far backwards. We will never forget who gave America a bad name. The man who destroyed this economy. If you want to know about protest, then I suggest you simply use Google. There will be plenty for you to participate in as soon as you accept the truth.
Now, look at the list. Watch something on TV other than Sean Hannity. Educate yourself. Open your mind.
Keep talking…very entertaining! you fool!
I just read these comments and you people are living in your own little world if you think Bush was some great shakes of a President. You guys don’t really have a grasp on the reality of what is going on in the world if you are thinking Bush is more than a monkey.
I wish this website would start monitoring its comments. I don’t care what your views are politically; there is no reason to write such rude comments. Next time you post something, ask yourself if it is something you would say to a group of strangers at a nice dinner party. Why do so many of you have to trash up this website?
It is getting exhausting reading negative comments all the time about anything that has to do with the president. This story was supposed to be light-hearted about a young man who is trying spread a little friendship and courtesy while making a little tuition money and even making a donation to a good cause.
Next…
James wrote, “He’s an economic major and is WELCOMING W? Isn’t that a bit odd?”
No, it isn’t. It seems that only people who understand the economy and economics know that President Bush has nothing to do with its current condition. The Clinton administration is responsible for the housing crisis. He is the one who in 1999 put pressure on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to low the requirements so people who could not afford homes could buy them.
President Bush has done very well considering the unfortunate time he was elected. I would like to see how you would lead our country under terrorist attacks and the economic condition that HIS ADMINISTRATION WARNED ABOUT (yet the Democrats refused to acknowledge but now blame him for) caused by the previous president.
Candy – it is a nice story and reflects something we should admire in the historically beneficial entrepreneurial spirit that has made our country great and the ingenuity of youth for which we should all be grateful.
Unfortunately, these are qualities that the left cares little about, choosing instead to relentlessly spit vitriol (Palinoscopy) laden with (or based on) incorrect “facts,” or deride the guy for the particulars of his business venture – or even the fact that he pursued a capitalist idea at all (C.R.)!
Thank you for the story, Candy, and let’s hope that the collective spirit of it and the non-commenting readers who enjoyed it can rise about the irrational, sanctimonious drivel of those who harbor a personal vendetta toward the Bushes.
Resourceful. Those kids have a future in business
Welcome Home W.
Hey Bush Lovers
How does it feel to be a minority now? Just a very small sample of the World. Perhaps you guys could apply for some minority benefits. Oops. No money. No jobs. No class.
Am getting my shoes lined with lead in anticipation………
interested: I’m interested in what you think would move the country forward.
Why you and wja4507 think I’m left wing for having taste is beyond me. I’m all for welcoming people to the neighborhood, even George and Laura Bush.
The signs are ugly, period. That’s what I was saying–as Bethany pointed out I have a right (to my F ing opinion on the W signs).
I’d send $20 to pershing elementary rather than waste it on that rip off non product.
Just because you’re “right” doesn’t mean you actually are…especially about a personal opinion.
There is a lesson to be learned by right wingers, evangelicals, and neocons. You have tried to shut out a world that doesn’t believe as you do. In doing so, you divided the United States. Now, it is up to us to clean up the mess you left behind. Yes the signs are ugly. Over priced and is a way to force children into a PR campaign they have no interest in. Stop telling everyone to shut up, to be quiet, to lay low.
We have heard enough of your Rove BS. We are members of this community, just as you are.
Um, no one is forcing this kid into any PR campaign — completely on his own. I’ve just received a call from another youngster in University Park also making signs — these are $25. Stay tuned. Keep those comments coming!
What a great idea, yet what a shame that a positive thing has to bring out all the hate mongers. I wish they would go back under the rocks they live under.
So, INTERESTED, you want us all to forget eh? Funny how the administration that screwed this country up would never let us forget 9/11? Gee, why is that? BECAUSE IT WAS A GOOD PASSIONATE EXCUSE TO GO TO WAR!
JUST LIKE IT’S A GOOD EXCUSE TO NOT WELCOME THE DOUCHE BAG!
Bush Derangement Syndrome is a helluva drug.
lol. I’m sure the ship has sailed on these comments being relevant, but I have to respond to wja4507.
I think C.R. is dead on. The signs are rubbish. Anyone with an eye for anything resembling graphic design will tell you that. I think now would be a good time to remember that elevating the mediocre to the superlative is why we’re welcoming W ‘back to Dallas’ in the first place…
Our neighborhood will be safer with President Bush and The First Lady moving in. Welcome home Mr. President, Welcome Home!!!!!
@NativeTexan
you’re joking right?
I saw the sign for the first time today.
Good job, Patrick and Ryan, it looks wonderful, is a fantastic sentiment to a great President, and elegant First Lady.
Your neighborhood isn’t far from mine, and I am well pleased such a decent man is moving here, and not some filthy hippy, or liberal trial lawyer.
I’ll be ordering mine this weekend, and you might want to check into bumper stickers also.
At the rate B. Hussein Obama is going, there will be many Obamabots needing something to cover their B-HO for President stickers, very soon.
@no2liberals
you’re joking, right?
What an exploitation with greed and lust for free money (Stimulus Check).
Give the sign FREE – see how many would like to have it.
It is such a shame that people get their information from little snippets from the media and never, ever delve into anything. Blame, blame, blame all based on such little information. We should take the vote away from people who are so uninformed about the issues. We need to do what is right for the country, not what is right for the people whose vote can be bought with promises of handouts from the government. Yes, it is correct that the Clinton administration and the Democrats pressured banks to loan money to people who cannot afford it. Now it has come home to roost and Bush gets the blame because no one can look past the end of their nose to see what happened before Bush.
There are going to be a whole lot of unhappy Obama supporters real soon; the checks are not going to be coming every month so you don’t have to work.
texas should welcome W with open arms. he kept this country safe for over 7 years and captured (obama’s cousin) saddam!
i wonder if chicago will welcome back hussein obama in 4 years!!
i didn’t realize “change” meant bring back the Clinton Crooks!! first blago, then bill richardson, now No-Tax Timmy Geithner for Treasury?? what a freakin joke!!
All of this over Children trying to make some money for their school. GOD BLESS THE CHILDREN. “WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE”?
Yes there is only a precentage that is going to the school. Yes it would be nice if ALL the proceeds went too the school. But at least it’s something. I would bet those children put alot of effort in their project. What’s wrong with saying that was a great idea, we are so proud of you. You’re taking the glory away from these children, and blameing the Bush family because they bought a house in your neighborhood! Please—”GET A LIFE”..
Those of you that think ANYTHING in this life is free better take your blinder’s off. WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD!!!!!!!
Some of you people are so swollow, and can’t see past your own noses, probably sitting in your fancy house at your computer writing your little SNID remarks. Is that the only disapointment you’ve ever had in your life is that you think the President let you down? What planet are you living on? Even though George W. Bush was our President and you think it didn’t go the way it should have, he’s still human.
Do you think he had a crystal ball?
So the Bush’s bought a home. So what! Let the Bush’s live where they want too live. My husband and I voted for George W. Bush and would do it again. This is coming from a women that has lost her job,who is living on unemployment drawing $247.00 a week, $210.00 a week after taxes are taken out, that has a straight A student daughter that graudate’s this year, who’s goal is to go too collage. That is what I awake to every morning. That is when I am able to sleep. I think about it every wakeing second of the day as too ” How in God’s name am I going to make this happen”. The worst throught of this whole thing is my daughter doesn’t know that this might not happen for her.
I still have the room in my heart to wish the Bush’s well, and let them enjoy their retirement so too speak.
The ones of you that have to wake up every morning and your only worry is to peek out your windows to see what your new neighbor’s will be doing, or stressing about a gate being put on your street, so you can have your little gossip tea party’s,— either have way too much money, or have way too much time on their hands. I would think it’s both. The ones of you that are casting stones have no clue what a day in the White House would be like, or the daily decisions that would have to be made. Hey, HEADS UP! I don’t either. This is coming from someone who’s opinion doesn’t even matter. But I would like to think that common sense does.
BUT THOSE OF YOU THAT THINK YOU COULD HAVE DONE IT BETTER, OR DIFFERENTLY. WHY DIDN’T YOU RUN FOR PRESIDENT????????? WANTA WALK A MILE IN THOSE SHOES!!!!!!!!! I DIDN’T THINK SOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
and so it goes – the rich, getting from the rich, to give back to the rich!!!
Worstever was not everyones leader, certainly not mine- he wasn’t even elected by the popular majority the first time; he broke his promise of compassionate conservatism.
He’s not welcome by everyone here in dallas, hell he’s not even a real Texan!!! He’s a joke when it comes to real life cowboys/ranchers(just like his puppet fraud Cornyn) and the like. He was piss pour business man, almost failed his college – i could go on.
Yes, it’s great that the boys are entrepreneurial, but it’s tainted money – and Pershing, of all schools in Dallas, surely don’t need it as much as some lesser income areas.
Thank God he’ll be behind some kind of bars!!!
I’m just glad Texas got him back….Thank you Lord.
I challenge every one here is being critical to look at your own life and see what you individually are creating that makes your life, your family, neigbors, our country better, by being a contributing citizen instead of a loafer and complainer. How do you think the “rich” get that way – they work hard every day to pay for those who are couch potatoes and wait for the government to give handouts. Just wait – the group of loafers is about to get bigger with more handouts on the way just after the inauguration. Which group do you want to be identified with? I am definitely getting a sign and am proud of this industrious TCU student for helping pay his college tuition instead of waiting for the government to do it. I am also proud of the character of President and Mrs. Bush and proud they represent Texas. – I’m a NATIVE TEXAN and proud of it! Thank goodness there are some of us left to raise the bar!
Does anyone know if there is a larger sign or banner available. We had thought about making a custom welcome sign for our front gate, but if some of the money goes to charity, that would be great! Thank you.
PS I think the sign idea is great and it would be a fantastic sentiment for as many of us as possible to express our gratitude to President Bush for not only protecting us, but protecting the world. I get teary eyed to think of it.
I absolutely love American politics!!! So much more interesting than our own boring Canadian politicians.
I think it is unfortunate most Americans choose to blame George Bush for all that is wrong with their country. Let’s watch and see how long the new “love fest” with Barack Obama will last.
I know so many people who TOTALLY REGRET who they voted for now. Too little too late people, and now you are going to get what I don’t deserve. Shame on you for getting caught up in the hype. McCain is a good man, and could have really done some good. Obamma’s empty words mean NOTHING. This historical day is the beginning of the downfall of America and the stupidest decision it ever made.
I just need to know how to order one! Can anyone give me a website or a phone number or let me know how? I’ve checked all the news websites and they all lead me back to this article. Thank you! Native Texan – Midway Hollow Resident – Bush Supporter
Correct that – I just enlarged the Pic to discover the number! Take care
Maybe you should have used “Mission Accomplished” instead.
wow, you folks are crazy or hilarious– i can’t decide. wait, is this the onion?
I am a Texan born and raised. One thing that I have not heard from anyone is the fact that the military individuals that have died volunteered to enter the military. I am an ex Air Force individul and no one was forced to go into the military during this time frame of the president serving. As a matter of fact before you go on active duty they inform you that there is always a possibility of going to war and dying. I also want to state that when it is your time to go you will go whether you are at home or at war. I have personally seen people who were closer to explosives than the ones who died lived with just a few scratches. You can not really blame one person for the mess this country is in. You can look at this mess as a joint effort played by many americans. Like I said it was not Pres Bush who made us military personnel sign the dotted line it was our choice to make that decision. SO EVERYONE NEEDS TO GET OFF BLAMING ONE PERSON FOR SO MUCH BEING MESSED UP HE IS ONLY HUMAN AND MAKES MISTAKES AS ALL OF US. HE IS NOT PERFECT AND HE NEVER CLAIMED TO BE!
THE MAIN THING I WANTED TO SAY AND NOT SURE IT GOT ACROSS IS THAT WHEN IT IS YOUR TIME DIE IT DOES NOT MATTER WHERE YOU ARE YOU WILL DIE!
I only hope that one day I can shake the hands of such a person who decided to take on America as did Pres Bush.
Trina, you so crazy!
Flava Flav in 2016. I hear that Sara Palin is considering a reality dating show deal called American MILF.
…and that is totally relevant to the original topic of Yard signs. You people made me forget what I got online for. Now I gotta jog my memory by looking at porn.
Because George Bush was the president for the last 8 years, I don’t have an extra $20 to give you for the yard sign. All my investments have tanked during those 8 years. I can, however, afford to walk my dog by and see that he leaves Dubya a cigar.
Are fair city of Dallas will now have two, black eyes. The first black eye is for being the home city where JFK was assassinated. The second black eye is for being the home of GW Bush.
When people come to visit Dallas, they want to go see the spot where the assassination of John F. Kennedy, happened. Visitors can now add to their “must see” while in Dallas list, the home of the AWOLBUSH. Who left office with a approval rating, which stands at 28 percent. GW can proudly claim, that he remains better than the all-time lows set by Harry Truman and Richard Nixon [22 percent and 24 percent, respectively], (a record one can really be proud of . .NOT . . ) but even those two presidents never got a disapproval rating in the 70’s,” The previous all-time record in CNN or Gallup polling was set by Truman, 67 percent disapproval in January 1952.
I would prefer to place a sign in my front yard asking people to visit the web site YouTube – George W Bush- Draft Dodger http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gyFdZqWDn3c
If you start selling these kinds of yard sign let me know.
Embarrassed Dallas citizen
Well all I can say is better here than in the White House. I honestly feel that he’s the worst President of my lifetime certainly. I thought Republicans were supposed to be fiscally responsible…but instead pursued a policy of “borrow and spend” from the Chinese so that they could finance tax cuts for the wealthy here.
That ISN’T fiscal responsibility at all.
George W. bush took a surplus that he inherited from Bill Clinton and quickly turned it into a deficit through irresponsible regressive tax policy.
Under his so called “leadership” our national debt went from $ 5 Trillion to now $ 10 Trillion or roughly 1 full year of GDP.
For me the letter “W” will always stand for
WORST.
As a fellow Preston Hollow resident,I have seen the signs popping up all over…and into other areas & my heart rejoices at the sight of each new one I see. Patrick & Ryan Bibb have a foundation that I believe has been taught & lived by example (parents); one of Kindness, Respect, Loyalty, Honor and I have to say, an understanding that is deeper & more mature than the majority of people that have responded to this article about the signs.
I’m proud of Patrick & Ryan.
I am a NATIVE TEXAN & Proud of it.
And I AM PROUD to have the Bush’s as neighbors!!
Thank you!!
As a spouse to someone who is active duty Air Force who PROUDLY served under Bush and as a native Texan…..I wish I was there to say “Welcome Home”. Even if he made some unpopular decisions – he was an incredible President and our current one has nothing on George Bush, Jr! I miss President Bush. I had tears in my eyes seeing him fly off from WDC.
*******
I wish Patrick & Ryan would make signs and/or stickers that say: “This Military member misses you President Bush!”
*******
And to those saying Bush was not fiscally responsible. LMAO – look who is in the White House now – LMAO – he is driving our country into the ground. Trillions of dollars later, you will see nothing of what you spent your tax money on.
President Obama will never be the great president that Bush was. He does not have the backbone nor the genuine heart for America that Bush has.
******
Goodbye President Bush, you will be missed by many – don’t let the bitter naysayers ever get you down! Thank you for your service to our Country and your support to our military.
Wow Karren, guess you have no idea how the economy works.
Maybe you’ll be finally be happy when broke Wall Street-ers are breaking into your car and stealing coins out of your ash tray for their blow. I for one would rather have the jackasses stealing from my paycheck than off my person.
And, yeah, your beloved Bush contributed a lot– A L-O-T– to the way things are. For the rest of us, pipe down and climb into your Limbaughm shelter, we’ll let you know when it blows over.
It’s pretty pathetic when we have to fund our schools by selling Welcome Home George and Laura signs. I guess No Child Left Behind didn’t work for us. Darn.
Hey Allen and Karen, are you two living in a cave? Crawl out and look what’s going on around you. Better yet, go enlist and fight in the war your “great president” got us into.
Hey Jan,
Why don’t you head down to the recruitment office with Allen and Karen. You all can carpool!
