Ort Barona is closing LFT at Victory January 1, starting their liquidation process sale tomorrow with merchandise — just unpacked merchandise — marked down by 25%. Chalk it up to what is quickly becoming worse than the worse four-letter word — the economy.

LFT Says Goodbye
Dallas, TX –As of Friday, November 21, LFT will begin the liquidation process of the store in Victory Park. “Due primarily to the current state of the economy and a yet to mature trade area, we have reluctantly decided to close our doors,” LFT owner, Ort Varona. LFT, as it is now known, cannot sustain the high level quality product we provide along with the personalized customer service that our loyal patrons have come to know. We are deeply saddened to see the doors close after a successful 20 month run. We would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you who made this store a great success.
“We are fortunate to have had the opportunity to serve Dallas and will continue to support any effort to create a better community,” Ort Varona.
Store hours will be as follows:
Monday-Saturday: 11-8pm
Sunday: 1-6pm
LFT – Lifestyle Fashion Terminal
2350 Victory Park Lane
Dallas, TX 75219

It’s just amazing that you “chalk it up to the economy.” This retailer has NOTHING to do with the economy and everything to do with a failed Victory Park. Hillwood promised 4,000 units of housing in VP and only built 600. More retailers will be closing. Retail won’t work without enough residential to support it – just look at West Village or Legacy.
Hillwood made this mess, not the economy or even LFT. Hillwood didn’t do what they promised and they deserve the blame for this failure and by failure I mean Victory Park, not just LFT.
I think they could have weathered the storm had they continued to advertise on this blog. IJS.
