I had a pomeranian that was stolen I found the "kid" who was identified taking him (nothing has been done to him for stealing my Rufus)but that is because I am not 100% certain. He is 15 yrs old I was told that if I wanted to press charges that I would need to do the research for the Value of him. How do you put a price on your kids they wake you up they get you out of the house and keep you from staying out all night they are our true gaurdians. In short this is a widely spread crime that there is no real justice for. YET! I dont live around Dallas but if I did I would have been there.

After all, our dogs are so innocent and they just love and adore us with unconditional love. Any sicko who hurts animals would also hurt humans or children.

I think the dog owner loves the dog otherwise will not go to the Dallas City hall. Owner just not doing it the best way.
I suggest several alternatives: keep the dog inside (but let them out for exercise with attend), set the criminal up by installing CCTV and work with police to come quick if criminal is up to stealing, move somewhere else away from this criminal, or prepare "ultimate" protection for dog and owner.

If I knew someone who stole my dog for fighting, I'd kill them. I'm an anti-gun bleeding heart liberal, but there are lines drawn when it comes to pets. I don't share the sentiments of others on this comment list. While it is irresponsible to leave a dog outside, unattended for a prolonged period, it is ultimately the criminal who should be held responsible for the wrong doing in this instance.

People simply don't see the value of these sentient being's lives, and that's a sad fact for humankind in general.

I think Brad needs to give his dogs a little backbone. I have a terrior half the size of a Husky and I can assure you he would not be "stolen". He would make any thief think twice before walking off with him.

I agree with Kevin. I hate criminal but owner knows who, and dogs got stolen repeatly?
My heart go to the dogs at the wrong hand. Not the owner.
But, if owner still have more dog(s) and serilously wants to protect them, keep them inside.
When criminal comes inside, SHOOT him/them. Make sure he died inside of your property. That is HOME INVASION.

I have one word for people who leave their dogs unattended in their yards: stupid.

Huskies in the Texas heat? That is animal cruelty. Dogs are pack animals - you are their pack. They belong inside with the family, not out fighting the elements, outside predators and parasites and boredom.

Furry children are not left outside.

Unless all these huskies were stolen at the same time, this person is simply too stupid to own an animal. If something happens once, it's ignorance. After that, it's just stupidity.
