I, too, was very pleasantly surprised to see this home in AD. Not surprised because of it's very deserved status, but because AD is not known for showcasing the fine examples of great architecture we have here in the Lone Star state - the properties they feature are always east-west coast or abroad.
I have been fortunate to be able to tour this beautiful mid-century gem a few times over the years, and was very happy to see that Mr Buchanan and the Eagles took such pains to renovate it such perfection - especially re-installing the famed moated dining platform.
It's such a shame that more people with the means in Dallas (and Texas as a whole) can not recognize the beautiful post World War II architecture we have and are so relentless in their ego stroking to tear down our history.
Good work to this wonderful team of believers!
