This room will sure wake you up in the mornings, or make you think you are back at Montessori school… $699,500 zero lot line honeypie on Sunlight Drive. Listing agent Sophia Tolk ought to get an extra commission point for her sunglasses.

Candy, that’s the SECOND time you’ve put this house on the blog. It was horrible the last time, and it still is.

Always a bridesmaid, never a bride. I haven’t heard from you in awhile and wanted to make sure you are paying attention!

Ouch. I like light and all, but it gives me a migraine just viewing it. I love contemporary, but it IS so Lamplighter. It’d be funny to see hidden video comments like Jeff Lewis does in “Flipping Out.” Did we all watch it last night? Could you just scream when Zoila brown (no pun intended on the brown) noses him. She’s always cleaning!

I love the light - it’s the toddler-room colors that make me cringe.

Maybe in this instance, it would be better to show this home “unstaged”. Completely empty would be better than these overly distracting furnishings.
DallasDirt is a daily discussion and dissention of the Dallas-Fort Worth real estate market, led by D Home Real Estate Editor Mary Candace Evans with contributions from real estate experts and aficionados. Topics include house porn, hot neighborhoods, hot agents, hip pockets, celebrity listings, second homes, vacation homes, real estate trends, data analysis, tips for buying, selling, or staying put. If DallasDirt were a house, it'd be a three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath ranch transitional on a quarter acre lot with stainless kitchen and granite countertops: sophisticated with designer touches, room for expansion. Make an offer.
