    That’s why we have many voluntary homeowners’ associations. I’m the president of the Lakewood Neighborhood Association - one of the largest in the state of Texas at approx 3,000 homes. We volunteer, we work our behinds off and still get chewed out by frustrated neigbors - but we suck it up and go back to work because it is our ‘hood and we love it!
