I mean Stalker. It’s not that I don’t like Mama, I just hate it when out-of-towners bash our big homes. Was at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Luncheon yesterday — details later — and as I looked at all the ladies and gents at the tables, on the runway, all I could think of was — (1) my roots need a touch up (2) when have I last conditioned my hair? (3) I cannot miss Total Body at Cooper tomorrow night (4) I really need a boob job. OK, point is, we are good looking people here, we work like hell at looking good, I think we give LA a run for the money. Our homes are spectacular, yes we have a few tasteless monstrocities but for the most part, Dallasites have really great taste and take great care of themselves. And our homes. Our Real Estate values are like our chests — they keep going up in value. Someone once told me that more blonde bleach is sold in three Dallas zip codes than anywhere else in the nation. So there, Mama.
Oh, Candy. Take Mama for what she’s worth (if she is really a she): a laugh. I read several articles on the blog and Mama is probably a washed up wannabe stand-up comic who couldn’t cut it in LA or else she is a wannabe realtor to the starts who just couldn’t break through. Either way, the comedy gets old after about two articles and Mama probably lives in a $400 a month apartment in the valley with her four cats and reeks of cheap booze.
As for the runway models and comparing yourself to LA folks, look at three more popular people in the news from LA right now:
1. Britney: Need I say anything other than CRAZY?
2. Paris Hilton: Do you want to shed fake Barbie hair like a mangy cat?
3. Posh: Box of dropped toothpicks wrapped in a 70 lb woman’s skin? Not hot.

1) Why do you call Mama (who is actually a dude) a stalker? Don’t YOU visit the site everyday? What does that make you? Plus, most of the information she provides is “Public Information.”
2) What make’s your blog any different?
Yes I’m a Real Estalker fan. I think the site is entertainment.
We Texans are a proud people and Candy is certainly someone we want on the front line when it comes to defending Dallas real estate from out-of-towners. But the truth is that we have plenty of in-towners? bashing each other’s real estate. Parts of Lakewood, Briarwood, Preston Hollow and Midway Hollow are virtually split into 2 camps, McMansions and non-McMansions. If you want to see and hear hatred, judgement and all out neighbor bashing go to a neighborhood meeting where they discuss new construction in one of these neighborhoods.
Homes are like us — they need maintenance. A little nip and tuck there, here. All I’m saying is we don’t deserve a lot of grief because if we take as good care of our homes as we do ourselves —oh add Botox to my list — we have some great bungalowes.
And you’re right. I’m not Real Estate stalker. I’m a hound! Wait ’till you see what I found tonight en route to a party!
Home maintenance is an important factor. Hard to sell if you let your home get in dis repair.
