I have to add this to Wick’s very sharp observation: Last week, I was talking about Steve Brown’s early tabulation of December home sales plunging with David Fair — which you will hear more about, shortly. David made a very interesting point: the holidays this year took a huge chunk out of December production because of how they fell — a Monday and a Tuesday, essentially chopping a week out of the month. People barely worked much less bought homes.
