So, as a way to play with embedding the new Google Maps “Streetview” function, let me ask you folks to look at the following picture and tell me if you know who owns this townhouse project that hasn’t had any work done to it in the past six months or so? It appears the investors either went teats-up (not surprising since the asking price was well over $400K, or about 30 percent more than new townhomes where I live a block away) or they’re just waiting out the winter. Anyone know the investor? More important, how cool is Google Streetview? You can play with this thing right now, here, on the site.

Just found this info when googling the owner’s name. You’re the journalists so I thought I’d leave it to you to call his house and ask why he built crappy townhomes and left them for dead. Let me know how that goes!

1st builder was fired by developer. Builder files lawsuit and liens against the property. Supposed to go to mediation. No date set yet. Once mediation complete they hope to finish condos or “short sale”. Property next door has $700K+ in it and is going to go into foreclosure.
Another fine example of eager developer’s coming from out of state not knowing what the hell they’re doing.
